The project team and steel fabricator relationship has always been a traditional part of our industry but our Direct Fabricator Engagement (DFE™) model takes this relationship to a new level. It guarantees the fabricator direct access to an expert team that understands capacity and the requirements, and can ensure smooth communication and precise shop drawings.
Direct Fabricator Engagement
Direct Fabricator Engagement (DFE™) encompasses three specific services:
Traditional Delivery
Finish-to-start shop detailing packages delivered according to agreed schedule milestones. (Design package completed prior to steel fabrication commencement).
Progressive Delivery
Finish-to-finish packages delivered to the fabricator’s capacity requirements. (Concurrent shop detailing and steel fabrication).
Quality Review Services
Multiplan has an unrivalled knowledge of standards and compliance requirements in Australia and Europe. We assess and pressure-test design and fabrication models and drawings to ensure errors that can cost substantial time and money during the post-fabrication and construction stages are avoided.
