Construction Detailer
Becoming a Detailer is the next step in the Multiplan career pathway, learning how to break down complex 3D construction models into 2D drawings.
These drawings go to fabricators to produce the steel components needed for projects across a variety of sectors, including mining, industrial, marine and commercial.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Continued exposure to the 3D modelling environment, mentored bySenior Modellers
- Building an understanding of the weld symbology used in assembly drawings
- Assisting document control in the issue of deliverables
- Developing an understanding of client deliverables, including models, drawings, standards and specifications
- Liaising closely with Modellers and Checkers during the detailing process
- Developing an understanding of industry standards and deadlines

- Six months as a Trainee, ready to progress to more complexassembly drawings
- Time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
