Construction Modellor
Our Construction Modellers use the latest computer software programs to create advanced 3D models of steel structures.
They work with meticulous accuracy to ensure that the detailed drawings - that are based on the models – are millimetre-perfect before they go to the steel fabricator.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Continued development in the 3D modelling environment, startingwith small structures and progressing to larger, more complex structures on avariety of projects
- Developing an understanding of the design information received forthe project and how this correlates with modelling requirements
- Developing an understanding of fabrication and constructionmethods
- Developing a strong understanding of the RFI/TQ process
- Ongoing training and mentoring with Senior Modellers
- Introduction to projects
- Familiarity with terms and symbols

Qualifications and Skills
- Good understanding of industry standards, project standards and deliverables
- Ability to work as part of a team environment and autonomously

Farzaneh Khani
Mathematics and the idea of creating something new is the perfect combination for me and construction modelling offers both. My day usually starts by figuring out how a job is going to be done and finding the conditions, scope of works and references. I get to learn from the more senior modellers and the project manager, helping me grow my construction and engineering knowledge, as well as my mathematical, communication and problem-solving skills. I love being part of a team and knowing that what I’m working on will go on to be built in the real world. This is very motivating and rewarding for me.
